I am FORTY!!

Just saying it feels like both a celebration and a grounding moment.
Forty years of living means I’ve experienced the full spectrum—the incredible highs, the heartbreaking lows, and everything in between. Looking back, I can see how every season carried its own lessons. Some I learned the hard way, some I’m still learning right now, and many I didn’t even know I needed until life placed them gently (or not so gently) in my path.
There are so many things I know now that I wish I could have whispered to my high school self—the girl who thought every misstep was the end of the world—or to my twenty-something self, who was racing through life trying to “figure it all out.” But there’s beauty in not knowing back then. Because learning, growing, and evolving in real time has given me a deeper sense of strength and gratitude than I could have imagined. And knowing it now feels so empowering!
A strong parallel can created from a certain popular movie at the moment. Life has a funny way of throwing its own “demons” at us—self-doubt, loss, fear, failure, or even just the chaos of a busy day. Some of those battles felt epic and exhausting, while others turned out to be smaller than they seemed—like realizing the demon was really just me needing to laugh at myself or finally let go of something I was holding onto too tightly. And just like in the movie, I’ve discovered that the real victory doesn’t come from slaying every demon perfectly—it comes from growing stronger, leaning on my team (my family, friends, and community), and remembering that joy and love always tip the balance.
At forty, my goals look different, my priorities feel clearer, and my heart is fuller.

I am truly blessed to be a mom of two amazing kids, a woman who loves deeply, and a human who tries her best—sometimes stumbling, sometimes soaring, but always positive momentum forward. All I can hope for in this next chapter is to keep showing up as the best version of myself in all these facets of life.
So here’s to forty—not as an end of youth, but as a celebration of wisdom, resilience, laughter, love, and the thrilling journey that’s still unfolding.
Forty isn’t just a number—it’s a gift, and I am embracing it with gratitude, courage, and yes… even a smile when the “demons” show up!
