Sandy Sansing, well-known for both his business success and his generosity, once again demonstrated his heart for the community with a $100,000 donation to Gulf Coast Kids House earlier this week. The contribution underscores his long-standing commitment to giving back and will provide critical support to children and families across Escambia County.

Gulf Coast Kids House is the county’s only children’s advocacy center. Founded in 2004, it brings together law enforcement, child protection services, medical professionals, mental health experts, and victim advocates under one roof to serve children who have been abused or neglected. The goal is simple but powerful: to create a safe, child-friendly environment where young victims can find justice, healing, and hope.
The need in Escambia County is significant. Each year, more than 8,000 cases of child maltreatment are reported, and roughly one in nine children in the area experiences some form of abuse. Gulf Coast Kids House works with more than 4,000 children annually, providing investigative interviews, medical evaluations, counseling, and legal support. The organization also leads community prevention efforts, such as the “Know Child Abuse” campaign, which trains adults to recognize and report warning signs.
For Sansing, this donation is just the latest chapter in a decades-long history of support. Since 2005, he and his family have contributed more than $700,000 to Gulf Coast Kids House, ensuring that the center can continue its mission despite the growing demand for services. His belief in giving back has made him a cornerstone of philanthropy in the Pensacola area, and his support has helped countless families find stability in moments of crisis.
