Founded in 1996 and affiliated with Learn to Skate USA, GPFSC is Pensacola’s gateway to the ice, teaching skills endorsed by the Olympic National Governing Bodies, including U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey, and sparking a passion for winter sports in the heart of Florida’s coast.
More than just a fun activity, ice skating is a fantastic workout that improves balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Not only that, but it’s great for ankle strength! Why do I say that? Well, my ankles can attest to added benefits when I have held my kiddo’s hands as they skate around the ice rink!
