Empowering Communities: Representative Michelle Salzman and Partners Host Quarterly Outreach Event

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Florida Representative Michelle Salzman, alongside Farm Share, KIA Autosport of Pensacola, Kevin Stephens, and other dedicated partners, are set to host a transformative event tomorrow, Saturday, March 16, 2024. From 7:30 a.m. until supplies last, the grounds of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church at 6205 North W Street, Pensacola, FL 32505, will buzz with activity as residents of District One come together for a special outreach initiative.

This quarterly event promises to make a profound impact, offering an impressive 30,000 pounds of fresh, nutritious food to those in need. But the generosity does not stop there – a hundred car seats will also be provided, thanks to the generosity of Kia Autosport Pensacola, ensuring the safety of families on the road.

The logistics are finely tuned for maximum efficiency and convenience: a drive-thru system for food distribution, a designated walk-up area, and a separate space for car seat pick-ups. Cars can begin lining up at 7:00 a.m., with the first 100 families guaranteed to receive food.

For those that have secured a car seat, please pick up between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the event day.

Jessica Lee, General Manager of Kia Autosport Pensacola, encapsulates the sentiment of community care: “Kia Autosport Pensacola is delighted to donate car seats to parents to ensure the safety and well-being of families on the road, reflecting our commitment to community welfare and promoting responsible driving practices.”

Representative Salzman echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the collaborative effort behind these initiatives: “These quarterly community outreach events I have hosted for several years could not be possible without partners like Kevin Stephens, Jessica Lee, and of course our Farm Share team. Myself, the sheriff, our county commissioners, and others have truly been honored to serve our community in this way.”

As the date approaches, the excitement builds, highlighting the power of unity, compassion, and collective action in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Mark your calendars, Pensacola – it’s a day to come together, uplift one another, and create lasting positive change!
