It’s time! After nearly six years of construction and set backs, the Pensacola Bay Bridge has reached completion — the westbound (Gulf Breeze to Pensacola) is now open for vehicles.
We will need to wait just a little bit longer to access the westbound multiuse path. Crews continue to install handrails and perform other miscellaneous tasks on the path, which is expected to open in the coming months.
Congratulations and thank you to all the construction crews who have been working tirelessly to make this day a reality! Drive safe Pensacola.
