Take Me To The Dwelling Place

Ahh, the dwelling place.
Have you ever found yourself here?
A place where nothing is forced and God is near.

A place where words flow as freely as the river runs.
Free of pain, suffering, and thoughts of what’s to come.
Void of angst, and worry, and doubt.

The dwelling place is no apartment, mansion, or tiny house.

This dwelling place is unique to you.
A place to be present.
A place to be renewed.

God intended for us to dwell.
To be with Him, where all is well.
A holy moment, maybe two.

God designed this place for me and you.

I’ve been here before.
Each time I visit, I crave it again.
The dwelling place is where healing begins.

A place to pray, laugh, and cry.
I feel the safest here.
Though sometimes I’m not even sure why.

There are no bones to this dwelling place.

No windows, doors, or sitting space.
Arriving here in mysterious ways.
Guided by the hand of grace.

God is desperate for our hearts.
Accepting this dwelling place is where it starts.
Walking into the door of truth.

The dwelling place is where He reveals Himself to you.
