2nd Annual Cops, Cars and Crawfish Event

The Escambia County Sheriff Foundation will host the 2nd annual Cops, Cars, and Crawfish community event on Saturday, April 20th. The event will be held at 5 Flags Speedway, located at 7451 Pine Forest Road, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m.

“Escambia County is home to a number of amazing community events, but Cops, Cars, and Crawfish certainly belongs at the top of the list,” said Sheriff Chip W. Simmons. “Is there a winning combination better than cops, cars, and crawfish? When you combine this with the fact that event proceeds will benefit our deputies and support our community engagement initiatives, you can’t help but get excited about this annual event.”

This is a FREE family-friendly event with crawfish plates, hamburger & hotdog plates, and sweet treats from TASTEbuds will be available for purchase. Car show registration will be $25 on the day of the event with 50/50 raffle tickets and event t-shirts are also available for sale.

All proceeds will benefit the Escambia County Sheriff Foundation and its mission to support the heroes of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office while furthering their engagement efforts within the communities that they serve.

“With a large part of our mission centered on promoting the community engagement efforts of the Sheriff’s Office, Cops, Cars and Crawfish allows us to facilitate an engagement opportunity while raising the funds necessary to support other
initiatives such as the Blazer Academy and Sheriff’s Movie Nights,” said Whitney C. Lucas, Foundation President.

“Supported solely through private donations, The Sheriff Foundation wouldn’t be able to assist the employees of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office the way we do without events like this.”
