He’s calling it an “Open Gaetz Day,” promising that it’s just the first of many to come.

“[Rep. Gaetz] will be out visiting the Milton and Pace communities and will be available at the locations and times listed below to meet with constituents,” a statement from Gaetz’s office said. “There will be opportunities for constituents to share any questions, comments, and concerns directly with the Congressman and his support staff.”

Gaetz will begin a 12+ hour day at 7:00 a.m. with an appearance at the Kiwanis Clubs of Milton & Pace before heading at 8:00 a.m. to a “radio town hall” on WEBY 1330 AM, where the public is invited to call in. At 9:00 a.m., Gaetz will attend the meeting of the Santa Rosa County Commission to update commissioners on his efforts in Congress.

At 10:00 a.m., Gaetz will be a “Civics Teacher for a Day” at Avalon Middle School, a visit that’s closed to the public for security reasons. But the public is invited to a legislative update at noon at Grover Ts BBQ, where lunch will be provided.

In a pair of closed-door events, Gaetz will visit a healthcare facility at 2:00 p.m. before moving to a small business roundtable at 3:00 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., he’ll be available to meet with constituents during “mobile office hours” at the Santa Rosa County Administrative Complex in Milton.

Gaetz will end the day with a “town hall and community gathering” at 7:00 p.m. at Oops Alley in Pace, where pizza and refreshments will be provided.
