When husband and wife team, Apryl and Allan Lamberti, founded Pineapple Coast Interiors, Apryl dreamed of sharing her passion for creating dream vacation homes and luxury rentals. The pair has over a decade of experience remodeling homes in Atlanta, Pensacola, and along the Gulf Coast, offering comprehensive design and renovation services to eliminate stress and provide peace of mind to out-of-state owners, investors and locals alike.
Even more convenient, the pair also owns Pineapple Coast Vacations, a turnkey property management on Florida’s Emerald Coast. Their streamlined approach to providing full service interior design, property renovations, vacation rental setup, meticulous property management, and a 5-star guest experience, generates investors and property owners higher rental income, unmatched value, and peace of mind.
“For the vacation properties with out-of-town owners, our services work out really well,” said Apryl. “If it’s a vacation rental that needs a lot of work including structural, electrical, and new construction renovations, we will try and take care of those things first. We project manage with our network of trusted trade partners from start to finish. We really are the clients advocate, making sure everything is getting done correctly and timely.”
The reason they started the interior design side is because they could see how much potential there was for the design to really make an impact on the rental income of a property.
“We want to know why our clients want specific properties. Are they an investor that’s solely concerned about the numbers and ROI? We can help them. Do they want to build an entire portfolio on the Gulf Coast? We can help them do that by maximizing the revenue of each property, leveraging the design to drive up the bookings,” said Apryl. “We have seen it work time and time again. We manage both properties that we have designed and properties we haven’t designed and we see a dramatic difference in the rates and the return.”
Apryl believes in all the extra touches for the guest experience and making the design really impactful. Her mission is to ‘stop the scroll’ while people are looking through hundreds of listings. She also believes in letting the owners be the first to have the 5-star experience.
“Once we’re finished with a space we invite the owners to come stay and be the first guests to experience their newly updated space,” said Apryl. “They can experience it as though they are the guests for the first time — it’s part of our quality control to make sure we have everything covered. They get to feel the luxurious linens themselves, the juicy, yummy towels we use. And they also get to tell us if something is missing. It’s fun to get the owners thinking about the guest experience.”
Earlier this year, Pineapple Coast Interiors opened its Pensacola showroom and design center which is open to the public and offers an exclusive trade program for local design partners. You can find everything from design and finish selections for new builds and remodels, kitchen and bath renovations, to full furnishings and decor.
“Making our services more accessible to locals is huge part of our business now that we have our showroom open,” said Apryl. “We invite locals to come in shop with us and let us help redo their bedroom, living room or, our specialty, their entire home.”
Because Apryl and Allan started out doing vacation homes and rentals, everything in their showroom is specifically in mind for that. In other words, it’s extra durable and made really tough performance fabrics, which also makes them great for residential homes with kids, pets, you name it.
“Obviously we only have so much space here in our showroom, but the goal is really for us to show people what are what we can do, and what we’re really used to doing is full home projects,” said Apryl. “So while we started doing vacation rentals five years ago for design and renovations, we now have the capability with the show room to make our services more accessible to locals.”
The pair also use their showroom to support local artists and enjoy using local art in their home furnishing designs.
“We have 6-7 local artists featured in our showroom currently,” said Apryl. “Our last project we did downtown at Brent Lofts. We created a living art gallery. Our plan is to sell those pieces after they are shown off in the space and support the artists in our community.”
Check out all the featured local art, their gorgeous home designs and meet Apryl and her adorable dog, Callie, at the showroom located at 3620 Fairfield Dr. Mention “Local Pulse” while you’re there and receive 30% off store wide through the end of October 2024.
Whether you are looking to renovate and refurnish or not, Apryl has a service for everyone. She also offers in-home designer holiday decorating services. From tree decorating, garlands, wreaths, dining tablescapes and more. She can use the clients’ existing decor and can also add a mix of designer selections to refresh for a season to remember.
When it comes down to it, Pineapple Coast Interiors and Pineapple Coast Rentals is about enriching the lives of their clients.
“Make the investment in yourself and family to enjoy the home you have. We only have so much time on this planet and I encourage my clients to not just wait for a rainy day or just wait until they retire in twenty years to build something they love,” said Apryl. “Take care of yourself today and have a space that reflects who you are and a space where you can relax and rejuvenate regardless of whether you’re on vacation or not. That’s our mission.”
