If anybody ever says there’s nothing to do here ain’t lookin’. Give ’em this list and send them on their way. Truth be told, I could make a Top 30 for a weekend like this one! The weather on Friday and Saturday is supposed to be perfect. Saturday is shining with about a 4% chance of rain and a high of 82. Amen.

GALLERY NIGHT & EARTH DAY VINTAGE MARKET Friday, April 19 at 5 p.m. on Palafox in downtown Pensacola. They’re taking art to the streets for this “Earth Day” Gallery Night and Vintage Market presented by Publix! Bring the whole family from 5-9 PM for 60+ artist vendors, live music, performers, restaurants, food trucks, shopping, and so much more! CINEMAS IN THE SAND: JUMANJI Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m. In this 1995 fantasy adventure film, based on the children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg, a magical board game unleashes a world of jungle hazards upon its players. Starring Robin Williams, the movie takes viewers on a thrilling and humorous journey as the players attempt to survive and finish the game. Presented by the Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA) and sponsored by Postcard Properties, FL, and Postcard Realty, Inc. All movies are free to the public and will start at sunset on a giant movie screen in front of the Gulfside Pavilion stage on Pensacola Beach, weather permitting.

SWINGIN’ BY THE BAY – A 1920s to 1950s DANCE EVENT Friday, April 19 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Check out this traditional, old-school, vintage, 1920s – 1950s era SWING NIGHT! KIA 25TH ANNIVERSARY FAMILY FUN DAY CARNIVAL Saturday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Kia Autosport of Pensacola will host a family fun carnival at its dealership at 6637 Pensacola Blvd. To celebrate its 25 years in business, Kia AutoSport will have bounce houses, popcorn, and giveaways all day, 3-D Eats Food Truck from 11-2 p.m., face painting, and Kona Ice Truck from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.! GUMBO YA-YA Saturday, April 20 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Seville Quarter. We are excited to announce that Gumbo Ya-Ya will return to Seville Quarter in Downtown Pensacola on Saturday, April 20th. Amateur and professional teams will compete for bragging rights for the best Gumbo in Pensacola. Each gumbo will be judged on taste, smell, color, and consistency.
