One’s health is likely a priority for all citizens. Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to access the resources that will enable them to achieve their optimal well-being. A wide array of factors can influence a person’s ability to obtain healthcare and access to the tools that help form healthy habits. In her upcoming CivicCon event, Jill Miller will talk about the possibility of bridging health inequalities in hospitals and beyond.
Who Is Jill Miller?
Jill Miller is the CEO and President of Bethesda Inc, a 501(c)(3) organization centered on healthcare systems. Before she started at Bethesda Inc, she established and spearheaded the Joey Votto Foundation. The organization manages and gives grants to start-up and grassroots programs offering aid to families with post-traumatic stress disorders in the Greater Cincinnati area. While there, she pushed for organizational change and increased fundraising goals. Aside from her role at Bethesda, she’s also part of the Board of Trustees for Camp Joy and Philanthropy Ohio.
What is Bi3?
Jill Miller’s work at Bi3 has brought a positive impact in the Greater Cincinnati community, especially in how she works to improve healthcare systems and services.
Bi3 is Bethesda’s grantmaking initiative that supports breakthrough innovation that could minimize health disparities in the Greater Cincinnati area. With the growing positive impact of Bethesda Inc. and Jill’s projects, it’s possible to use the same strategies in other counties and states, including Pensacola.
