Trauma Release Invest (TRI) Announces 3rd Annual Suicide Awareness Walk

Trauma Release Invest (TRI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to trauma recovery, suicide prevention, and mental health advocacy, has announced its 3rd Annual Suicide Awareness Walk, taking place Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Museum Plaza in downtown Pensacola.

The community event brings together individuals, families, survivors, mental health advocates, and community partners to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and remind others that hope and healing are possible.

The evening will feature an inspiring program with guest speakers, a special “Say Their Names” remembrance tribute, resource vendors, music, and a community walk through downtown Pensacola.

“Every step we take represents hope. Together, we can break the silence, support those who are grieving, and remind every person they are not alone.”

— Michelle Gant, Founder & Executive Director, TRI

Founded by Michelle Gant following the heartbreaking loss of her son, Tridarius Gray, Trauma Release Invest was born out of pain but built on purpose. The organization provides a safe space for healing, education, and advocacy surrounding mental health and suicide prevention.

Last year’s walk welcomed more than 125 participants, and TRI anticipates an even larger turnout this year. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

Local businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to get involved through sponsorships, in-kind donations, vendor partnerships, and volunteer opportunities. Proceeds directly support TRI’s outreach, mental health programming, support groups, and trauma recovery initiatives.
