I know, I know. The thermometer may still be saying summer, but the second Pumpkin Spiced Latte hits the Starbucks menu — which was today — we collectively decide it’s fall.
And around here, fall doesn’t necessarily mean sweaters and changing leaves. It means festival season, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, hockey games, haunted happenings, concerts, fair food, art, live music and eventually maybe a morning cool enough to crack the windows.
The next few months are packed, so consider this your official Pensacola Fall Bucket List for 2026. Save it, send it to your group chat and start making plans.
Gulf Coast Summer Fest Jazz Edition
September 18–20
Kick off festival season with a weekend of live music at the Gulf Coast Jazz Festival. Grab your lawn chair, gather your crew and settle in for a weekend of jazz along the Gulf Coast.
September 25–27
One of Pensacola’s quintessential fall weekends returns to downtown. The Pensacola Seafood Festival takes over Seville Square and the surrounding area with seafood, live music, arts and crafts and more than 150 artisans and craftsmen.
Admission is free, which means you can save that money for the important stuff: deciding how many things you can reasonably eat in one afternoon.
September 26–November 8
Nothing says fall quite like getting slightly lost in a corn maze.
Sweet Season Farms in Milton returns for another season with its corn maze, pumpkin patch and plenty of farm fun. Make the short drive north, grab the family or a group of friends and lean all the way into fall.
Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival
October 1–11
Some of the people behind the songs you know and love head to the Gulf Coast for more than a week of live performances and storytelling during the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival.
It’s one of those uniquely Gulf Coast events where an ordinary night out can turn into hearing the story behind a song from the person who actually wrote it.
Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch & Maze
Pumpkin season calls for a trip to Milton.
Holland Farms is a longtime local fall favorite, bringing together pumpkins, farm activities and plenty of opportunities for the obligatory pumpkin patch or sunflower field photo. Add this one to the list when you’re ready for a proper fall farm day.
October 8–10
Come hungry. Pensacola Beach turns into a foodie destination for Taste of the Beach, bringing together local chefs, restaurants, tastings and plenty of reasons to spend a fall day on the island.
First City Art Center 20th Annual Pumpkin Patch
October 9–10
Possibly the prettiest pumpkin patch in Pensacola and you don’t have to worry about these pumpkins going bad.
First City Art Center’s annual Pumpkin Patch returns with thousands of one-of-a-kind handmade glass and ceramic pumpkins created by local artists. The First Pick Preview Party takes place October 9, followed by the general sale October 10.
Beginning October 10, Boo at the Zoo returns to the Gulf Breeze Zoo for another season of family-friendly Halloween fun. Put on the costumes, bring the kids and make a day of it.
The Pensacola Ice Flyers return to the Hangar for their first home game of the 2026–27 season on October 17. Grab a jersey, get loud and add at least one night of hockey at the Pensacola Bay Center to your fall plans.
Haunted Pensacola Lighthouse Tour
Want your fall bucket list with a side of paranormal activity? Head to the historic Pensacola Lighthouse for one of its after-hours Ghost Tours. You’ll explore the 1869 Keeper’s Quarters, hear some of the lighthouse’s haunted history and even climb the tower, weather permitting. Maybe don’t do this one alone.
The dogs deserve a fall festival too! Barktoberfest returns to Seville Square and Fountain Park October 18th for a full day dedicated to Pensacola’s four-legged residents and the people obsessed with them.
From October 22–November 1 you can practically smell the funnel cake once you hit the interstate. The Pensacola Interstate Fair returns with rides, games, livestock, entertainment and all the wonderfully questionable food decisions that only seem appropriate when there’s a Ferris wheel in the background.
Movie night, but make it Pensacola Beach on October 23rd. Cinemas in the Sand brings Toy Story 5 to the big screen for an outdoor movie night on the beach. Bring your blankets and chairs and let the Gulf be your backdrop.
Peace, love and a day downtown on October 24th. Pensacola Hippie Fest takes over the downtown parks with vendors, music and plenty of good vibes. Break out the tie-dye.
From October 29–November 9, Pensacola goes all in on art and culture. Foo Foo Fest brings together performances, installations, music, theater, visual art and creative experiences throughout the city. The lineup changes every year, which is half the fun — there’s always something you didn’t know you needed to see.
On November 8th, Pensacola’s music scene gets an even bigger spotlight. Night Moves Music Fest returns as part of Foo Foo Fest, and this year it’s expanding into a multi-day, citywide experience with live music taking over multiple downtown venues. Lineup coming soon!
Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival
The music continues into November 5-15th with the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival, bringing songwriters and musicians to venues throughout the Gulf Coast for intimate performances and plenty of stories behind the songs.
Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show
If you live in Pensacola, you already know: this one needs no introduction.
The Blue Angels return home to NAS Pensacola November 6-7 for their annual Homecoming Air Show. Consider your fall bucket list incomplete until you’ve looked up at least once.
Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival
November 6–8 Historic Seville Square fills with more than 200 artists and craftspeople for one of Pensacola’s most beloved annual traditions. Walk the park, admire the art, listen to live music and enjoy one of the best weekends to be downtown.
Come for the culture and stay for the food November 6-8. The Pensacola Greek Festival returns to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with traditional Greek cuisine, music, dancing and a celebration of Greek heritage that has become a longtime Pensacola favorite.
On November 15th Pensacola EggFest brings together pitmasters, backyard grillers and food lovers for a day centered around seriously good food — all while supporting local charities. Keep an eye out for this year’s official date.
The Revivalists at Maritime Park
On November 22nd The Revivalists head to Hunter Amphitheater at Maritime Park for an outdoor show with Hunter Metts. Add this one to the fall calendar for a night of live music with one of the best backdrops in town.
Battle at the Bay: UWF vs. FSU
We’re stretching fall all the way to the end of November for this one. On November 29 at 2 p.m. UWF Men’s Basketball takes on Florida State at the Pensacola Bay Center for Battle at the Bay — an especially big matchup as the Argos begin their inaugural NCAA Division I season.
A hometown team, an ACC opponent and a packed Bay Center? Sounds like a pretty good way to close out the Fall Edit.
And that is still only scratching the surface.
There will be Oktoberfests, Halloween parties, brewery events, pop-up markets, live music and plenty more added to the calendar as the season goes on.
So no, we do not want to hear “there’s nothing to do in Pensacola” this fall.
