A new collection of local businesses is officially opening its doors in downtown Pensacola, and they’re celebrating with an afternoon full of food, drinks, giveaways and plenty of reasons to stop by.
Great Harvest Bakery Café, Sage in Bloom, Sugar Bird’s Sweet Confections, Sweet Blessing Café, Bliss Yoga & Mindfulness Studio and Aliff Acres Farm will come together for a Grand Opening celebration Friday, August 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The businesses are located at The Savoy, on the corner of West Wright Street and North DeVilliers Street, bringing a new mix of food, wellness and locally owned businesses to the neighborhood.
And they’re making a party out of opening day.
Great Harvest Bakery Café will give the first 50 customers a free loaf of Honey Whole Wheat bread with purchase, beginning at 11 a.m.
Sage in Bloom and Sugar Bird’s Sweet Confections will offer free passed hors d’oeuvres for guests, along with complimentary Champagne for those 21 and older. Guests can also take advantage of an all-day happy hour featuring half-price bottles from the wine list and additional specials throughout the day.
The businesses will also offer chances to win some pretty impressive dinners. Guests can purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win one of two five-course dinners for four, while joining the email list enters guests for a chance to win a five-course dinner for two.
Sweet Blessing Café is getting in on the celebration with free cookies — no purchase necessary. The café also offers an ongoing 15% discount for Savoy tenants, first responders and military members.
Over at Bliss Yoga & Mindfulness Studio, guests can enter a raffle for the chance to win prizes including a Liforme yoga mat, a free class or a free Bliss Yoga membership.
And because no Pensacola party is complete without a few familiar faces, Cat Country 98.7 and Kazoo from the Pensacola Blue Wahoos will be on-site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
