Pensacola Parks & Recreation is excited to welcome students back for the 2026-2027 After-School Program, offering local families a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children ages 5-12.
The after-school program is available at three convenient locations across the city:
- Cobb Resource Center, 601 E Mallory St
- Gull Point Resource Center, 7000 Spanish Trail
- Woodland Heights Resource Center, 111 Berkley Dr
Enrollment for all new participants opens today, July 14. Registration must be completed in-person at one of the three resource centers above. Families are encouraged to register early, as space is limited and programs fill quickly.
The program operates weekly and costs $55 per child for City of Pensacola residents and $70 per child for non-city residents. Through the continued partnership with the Escambia Children’s Trust, up to 175 eligible participants can attend at no cost. Enrollment is limited to 240 total participants.
Each day, participants enjoy structured activities designed to support learning, creativity, and healthy lifestyles, including:
- Homework help and tutoring
- Indoor and outdoor sports
- STEM-based learning activities
- Creative arts projects
In addition to waived program fees, the partnership with Escambia Children’s Trust provides healthy snacks, enhanced educational curriculum, new sports equipment, and additional staff to help create a safe, engaging environment for every child.
Parents should also contact the Escambia County School District Transportation Office to confirm bus route availability from their child’s school.
