Pensacola is hyped for the 80th Anniversary Blue Angels Air Show this weekend, and rightfully so. But if the beach isn’t your only plan, there’s plenty more happening across town.

From Gallery Night belonging to the kids to a 2010s rager at Vinyl and a charity dance event with Sasha Farber from Dancing with the Stars, this weekend has a little of something for everyone.

BLUE ANGELS PRACTICE SHOW

The Blue Angels take to the sky for their first full flight over Pensacola Beach, no civilian acts, just the fleet doing what they do best. Perfect if you want to catch the maneuvers without the weekend crowds.

BLUE ANGELS DRESS REHEARSAL

The Friday preview of the weekend’s main event, featuring civilian aerobatic acts throughout the morning and afternoon, followed by the Blue Angels’ full flight demonstration overhead at 2:00pm. A great option if Saturday’s beach crowds aren’t your scene.
Bonus: Zam’s, Pensacola’s newest restaurant, is taking over Sneaky Tiki on Pensacola Beach today with swag, good vibes, and a whole lot of Zam energy. Stop by, grab your gear, and feel Zam good.

BLUE ANGELS 80TH ANNIVERSARY AIR SHOW

The main event. Saturday’s official Pensacola Beach Air Show marks 80 years of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels with a full lineup of civilian aerobatic acts and the Blue Angels’ signature flight demonstration. Arrive early, bring sunscreen and shade, and use the SRIA trolley from Park East or Park West if Casino Beach lots fill up.
Bonus: Look for the Feel Zam Good Casino Cabana right on Casino Beach for both air show days. Cool off in ice baths, grab a shaded seat, and keep the vibes up with a live DJ. Just look for the green tents and feather flags.

ZAM’S DOORS OPEN

Zam’s, Pensacola’s newest restaurant, officially opens its doors on Friday, July 17 at 404 Brent Lane. An offshoot of the global Aussie success story Zambrero, Zam’s brings a bowl-first menu with fresh flavors, punchy mashups, and upbeat eats from breakfast through dinner. Every meal is served with purpose.

GALLERY NIGHT: FUTURE MAKERS

This July, Gallery Night belongs to the kids. Future Makers turns downtown into a stage for young creators, bakers, artists, builders, and dreamers, complete with a Youth Entrepreneur Market where young makers showcase and sell their creations in the heart of the city. A family Gallery Night worth the whole evening.

THE GREATEST SHOWCASE

A charity dance event hosted by Sasha Farber of Dancing with the Stars, featuring local celebrities and students dancing to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. Support the cause and catch some serious talent.

HOUSE PARTY: A 2010s RAGER AT VINYL

A sweaty love letter to the 2010s rager takes over Vinyl Music Hall. Expect LMFAO, Skrillex, A$AP Rocky, Swedish House Mafia, Passion Pit, Rihanna, MGMT, and more. Shutter shades, neon bracelets, disposable cameras. Louder, sweatier, and with no neighbors to shut it down. 18+.

BLUE ANGELS PACKAGE SALE AT COASTAL COUNTY

Coastal County Brewing Company’s annual Blue Angels Package Sale is stocked and ready for beach weekend. Grab mix-and-match 4-packs for $20 each, load up on beers, ciders, seltzers, and meads from the Tap Room To-Go Cooler, or go big with CCB Party Balls and beach-friendly 5-gallon kegs. Even THC-infused seltzers are on offer for a little extra buzz beachside.

WEST COAST SWING CLASSES AND DANCE

The Pensacola Swing Dance Society kicks off an exciting new chapter at the Chapel Collective inside the historic Sacred Heart Building. Two one-hour lessons (Fundamentals at 6:00pm, Beyond the Basics at 7:00pm) followed by social dancing until 10:30pm. Lessons $10 each, dance $10, or all night for $25. No partner needed.
