Lovely Med Spa Brings a Fresh Approach to Aesthetics and Wellness in Gulf Breeze

A new chapter in aesthetics and wellness has arrived in Gulf Breeze.

Located in the Tiger Point area, Lovely Med Spa is the vision of founder Kris Pritchard, MSN, FNP-C, a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of medical experience. After building a loyal following through her Navarre-based practice, Pritchard relocated and reimagined the business in 2025, creating a larger, purpose-built space focused on aesthetics, wellness and helping clients feel confident at every stage of life.

The practice officially opened its Gulf Breeze location in October 2025, moving from Navarre and undergoing a complete rebrand from Deja You Medical Spa to Lovely Med Spa.

For Director of Operations Jeri Jo Fisher, the move represented much more than a change of address.

“We doubled in space, doubled in services and really entered a season of growth,” Fisher said. “This is a build-to-suit facility that was designed specifically for what we wanted Lovely to become.”

Before opening her practice in 2018, Pritchard spent more than two decades working in emergency medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and her master’s degree from Kaplan University before pursuing extensive training in facial anatomy, injection techniques and aesthetic medicine.

Today, she combines that medical expertise with an artist’s eye for facial balancing and natural-looking results. Her team says that commitment to both safety and artistry has helped establish the practice as a trusted destination for aesthetic and wellness care along the Gulf Coast.

But as the practice grew, so did the vision behind it.

Pritchard explained that the transition from Deja You to Lovely represented a shift away from trying to turn back the clock and toward helping people embrace the season of life they’re in now.

“When I founded the practice in 2018, I chose the name Deja You because it was a fun and catchy name,” Pritchard said. “Over time, the vision expanded. I wanted to shift away from focusing on going back in time and toward living fully right now. Our goal at Lovely is for every person to leave not just refreshed and confident, but lighter, more joyful and reminded of their God-given value and beauty.”

That philosophy is reflected throughout the practice’s extensive menu of services.

Whether someone is booking their first facial in their twenties or exploring hormone replacement therapy in their sixties, the Lovely team believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to self-care.

“We really have treatments for all ages,” Fisher said.

For younger clients, that may mean preventative skincare, HydraFacials, chemical peels or “baby Botox.” For Gulf Coast residents dealing with years of sun exposure, laser treatments help address pigmentation and sun damage, while services such as tattoo removal offer additional options.

The practice also offers microneedling, SkinPen treatments, chemical peels and advanced aesthetic procedures designed to improve skin tone, texture and overall confidence with minimal downtime.

Beyond aesthetics, Lovely Med Spa places a strong emphasis on wellness, offering IV hydration therapy, comprehensive lab testing, medically assisted weight-loss programs and hormone replacement therapy.

“If you’re feeling slow, sluggish or just not quite like yourself, sometimes it’s your hormones,” Fisher said. “We truly feel that beauty starts from the inside out. Looking at what’s happening internally can make a huge difference in how you feel and how you show up.”

In an industry often focused on dramatic transformations, Lovely Med Spa has built its identity around a different approach: enhancing rather than changing.

“We’re not trying to change your face,” Fisher said. “We’re simply refreshing the beauty that’s already there.”

That mindset is captured in one of the practice’s core messages: Simply Beautiful.

Pritchard believes self-care should never come with guilt.

“Women walk through my door apologizing for being here,” she said. “‘I know this is probably silly.’ ‘I feel a little vain.’ ‘My husband thinks I don’t need it.’ And every single time I want to say: stop apologizing.”

“You are not vain. You are not selfish. You are taking care of something that was entrusted to you. Aging is natural, beautiful, even. And caring for yourself in the process isn’t fighting God’s design. It’s honoring it.”

Lovely Med Spa currently operates with a close-knit team that includes two nurse practitioners, an aesthetician and a dedicated administrative and marketing staff.

Marketing Coordinator Molly Benz said the move into the new facility required learning new systems, adapting to rapid growth and embracing an entirely new brand identity.

“We came from the tiniest space ever,” Benz said. “Now we’ve expanded, rebranded and introduced new services. There was a lot to learn, but the team has been fantastic.”

That collaborative spirit extends beyond the walls of the practice.

While aesthetics can be a competitive industry, Fisher says many providers along the Gulf Coast support one another and share a common goal of helping clients feel their best.

“It’s less about competition and more about collaboration,” she said.

At the heart of everything they do is a simple goal: helping people walk out the door feeling better than when they arrived.

“We want everyone to walk in with goals and walk out feeling lovely,” Fisher said.
