If you don’t have plans Saturday afternoon, the Downtown Pensacola Library is giving you a pretty good reason to show up.
Pensacola Opera is partnering with West Florida Public Libraries to bring a free, drop-in concert to the main branch on Saturday, June 27th at 1:30 PM. The program features a mix of beloved operatic arias and musical theatre selections performed by a lineup of accomplished local artists: soprano Bizhou Chang, mezzo-soprano Dr. Rachel Gibson, baritone Corey McKern, and pianist Cody Martin.
No tickets, no reservations, no catch. Just walk in.
The concert takes place at Pensacola Public Library, located at 239 N. Spring Street in downtown Pensacola.
For those who want more after Saturday, Pensacola Opera’s 44th season is underway. Upcoming highlights include a Jukebox Gala in September, Opera After Dark at Museum Plaza (also free) in October, and two mainstage productions: Puccini’s Tosca in January 2027 and Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love in March 2027.
