Pensacola Little Theatre invites audiences to end the season on a high note with The Cottage, a fast-paced comedy running June 12–21, 2026, on the Mainstage.
Directed by Barbara Jacobs, The Cottage by Sandy Rustin is a witty, high-energy farce set in the English countryside in 1923. What begins as a scandalous confession quickly spirals into a whirlwind of secrets, surprise visitors, and tangled romances. Inspired by the style of Noël Coward, the production delivers a stylish comedy of manners packed with sharp dialogue and unexpected twists.
Described as a “laugh-out-loud farce,” the play centers on a woman who boldly reveals her affair—to both her husband and her lover’s wife—triggering a chain reaction of comedic chaos where propriety unravels and hilarity takes over.
The Cottage serves as the final production of Pensacola Little Theatre’s current season, offering audiences one last opportunity to experience live theatre before the curtain falls on another year of performances.
