Last night, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office proudly celebrated the graduation of Class 25-02 from its Law Enforcement Academy, marking an important milestone for 15 new recruits preparing to serve their community.
The class demonstrated exceptional performance, with every recruit scoring above 92 percent on the state certification exam—a testament to their dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence throughout the training process.
The ceremony was both formal and personal, as each graduate was pinned by a loved one before taking the oath of office. The recruits were officially sworn in by Chip W. Simmons, symbolizing their transition from academy trainees to sworn law enforcement officers.
Those graduating from Class 25-02 include Isaiah Absher, Noah Baker, Jacob Bierman, Jordan Davidson, David DeRouin, Haleigh Dove, Samuel Finley, Nicholas Graham, Tyler Grimes, Breanna Hudson, Robert Palmer, Brianna Pope, Joseph Prochazka, Christopher Tecumseh, and Emilio Verrillo.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office expressed pride in the accomplishments of the class, recognizing both their academic success and their readiness to uphold the responsibilities of law enforcement.
