Bayview Community Center invites the community to an Open House Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., offering a behind-the-scenes look at its boathouse, live demonstrations, and in-person assistance with Parks and Recreation’s new registration system, CivicRec.

2:30 p.m. | Kayak Paddle Demonstration
3:30 p.m. | Kayak Capsize Recovery Demonstration – weather permitting
4:30 p.m. | Fishing Reel Tear-Down
5:30 p.m. | Archery Demonstration
As an added incentive, all attendees will be entered for a chance to win free kayak rentals and other prizes.
“This Open House is a great opportunity for the community to explore what Outdoor Pursuits has to offer, meet our staff, and get comfortable with our new registration software,” Bayview and Outdoor Pursuits Coordinator Paul Pipes said. “Whether you’re brand new or a longtime participant, we’re excited to welcome everyone.”
