Start the year off right!
Join the Gulf Island National Seashore tomorrow at 9 am for the first Saturday hike program. Come learn all about the history of Deer Point Naval Live Oak Plantation during this free presentation. They will hike the full Brackenridge Loop trail, a 0.8-mile hike on an uneven, unpaved trail.
Plan for a two-hour hike. They will meet at Naval Live Oaks Area, in front of the Gulf Islands Headquarters.

Planned dates for the First Saturday Hike in 2026 include: February 7 and March 7.
There is no fee to enter the Naval Live Oaks section of Gulf Islands National Seashore.
