Pensacola Little Theatre Presents ‘Perfect Arrangement’

Pensacola Little Theatre (PLT) invites audiences to step behind the polished veneer of 1950s suburbia in Perfect Arrangement, a bold and witty play by acclaimed playwright Topher Payne, running Friday, January 30 at 7:30 p.m. through Sunday, February 8 at 2:30 p.m. in the intimate Studio 400 space.

Directed by Renee Jordan, this thought-provoking comedy blends rapid-fire humor with cutting social commentary as it explores identity, secrecy, and what it really takes to fit in. Set against the backdrop of the post-World War II Lavender Scare, a period when fear and conformity ruled American life, two U.S. government employees are hiding not just their true selves, but each other. As their perfectly constructed world comes under scrutiny, farce gives way to revelation in a story that’s as timely as it is hilarious.

Perfect Arrangement finds laughter in unexpected places while holding a mirror to the cost of living a lie,” said Director Renee Jordan. “This production invites our community to laugh, reflect, and connect with characters who are hiding in plain sight.”

Studio 400 is best suited for adult audiences due to mature themes and language.
