Pensacola’s Mardi Gras community gathered last week for the second and final City-Wide Planning Meeting of the season, bringing together krewes from across the region as anticipation builds for Fat Tuesday 2026. Held at Seville Quarter, the meeting marked one of the most important milestones leading into the upcoming Mardi Gras celebrations: the official announcement of the 2026 Fat Tuesday Room Hosts.
The evening was filled with energy as krewe members reconnected, shared updates, and prepared for the final stretch leading into next year’s events. Pensacola Mardi Gras leadership outlined key logistics for Fat Tuesday, highlighted continued partnerships with local organizations, and reaffirmed the commitment to keeping Pensacola’s Mardi Gras experience safe, spectacular and an event for that welcomes everyone.
The highlight of the night was the long-awaited room selection reveal. Each krewe was assigned to one of Seville Quarter’s iconic rooms, setting the stage for where they’ll celebrate and host on Fat Tuesday.

- Season Culmination / Fat Tuesday: Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
With the parade dates and room hosts locked in, krewes can now begin planning their themes, décor, and Fat Tuesday experiences. The 2026 Pensacola Mardi Gras Season will officially close on February 17 with the annual celebration presented by the Ice Flyers Foundation.
