Pensacola EggFest returns to The Hadji Temple on Nine Mile Road, continuing to grow its footprint, guest experience and charitable impact. The venue offers expanded space for additional cook teams, streamlined setup for participants and a larger, more welcoming tasting environment for attendees.
“Our teams loved the convenience and space last year,” said co-founder Jerold Hall. “Being able to directly unload equipment and get cooking quickly makes a big difference — and the attendees love the layout as well.”
Cook team registration is now open, welcoming everyone from seasoned pitmasters to backyard enthusiasts. Teams can drive directly to their assigned spaces to unload grills and supplies, streamlining setup.
Co-founder Doug Jolly said the continued growth strengthens EggFest’s core purpose.
“This event supports organizations addressing hunger, childhood cancer and community resilience,” Jolly said. “Good food for a good cause has always been the heart of EggFest — and every year, our community makes that impact stronger. In addition, Pensacola EggFest is committing funds to help Sacred Paws place a new trained facility animal, continuing the program’s healing impact across the community.”
Since its founding, Pensacola EggFest has raised more than $920,000 and served tens of thousands of meals to families in need. Beneficiaries include Sacred Paws, Manna Food Pantry, Studer Community Institute, Rally Pensacola, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, Hadji Shriners, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Pace Center for Girls, Pensacola’s Finest Foundation, NWF Guardian Ad Litem and Ronald McDonald House. Past guest judges include The Original BBQ Pitmaster Big Moe Cason, Kevin Lacz and Sean Dietrich (“Sean of the South”).
