The annual Bird Jam Golf Tournament is back — and it’s more than just a day on the course. Hosted by Pensacola Bay Brewery, this community favorite brings together friends, regulars, and local partners for a day of golf, laughter, and meaningful impact, all in memory of Mark Robertson, founder of Pensacola Bay Brewery and a beloved supporter of the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida.
This year marks the 3rd Annual Bird Jam Golf Tournament, teeing off Friday, November 14, 2025, at Osceola Municipal Golf Course.
- Check-in: 8 a.m.
- Shotgun start: 9 a.m.
- Format: Four-man scramble, best ball (PAR is your friend!)
- Perks: Breakfast biscuits at check-in, four drink tickets per person, prizes for Men’s and Women’s Long Drive and Closest to the Pin, and an after-tournament feast provided by Chef Dan Dunn.
- Cost: $450 per team | $100 per tee sign

All proceeds benefit the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida.
“The Bird Jam Golf Tournament means so much to all of us here at Pensacola Bay Brewery,” shared Jessica Wolford of Pensacola Bay Brewery. “Mark brought us together through our shared love of golf and giving back, and this event has become a tradition we look forward to every year. It’s a day where we get to connect with so many of our regulars, have some fun on the course, and show our appreciation by supporting the Northwest Wildlife Sanctuary and the amazing work they do for our community.”
This year’s tournament carries extra meaning as it continues to honor Mark’s lasting legacy. His connection to the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida runs deep — a reflection of his lifelong passion for protecting the Gulf Coast’s wildlife and environment.
“Mark Robertson, founder of Pensacola Bay Brewery, was a long-time supporter and beloved family member of the Wildlife Sanctuary,” said Leah Schultz, Development Coordinator for the Sanctuary. “He’s already greatly missed and had such passion about giving wildlife a second chance. We’re so grateful to Mark’s family for wanting to continue in his honor and we’re looking forward to continuing his legacy through a fun, community-focused event, something he loved to be a part of.”
The Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida serves as a free wildlife hospital for injured and orphaned native species, as well as a permanent home for those who can’t return to the wild. The organization typically treats around 4,000 patients each year — and that number continues to grow.
“We passed 3,600 patients in September,” Schultz added. “We are entirely community funded, so events like these are essential to our mission — they are truly the driving force behind our hospital. We’re so grateful to have supporters like the Robertson family in our community. We could not do what we do without them.”
Through Bird Jam, the spirit of community continues to thrive — one swing, one smile, and one cause at a time.
