The Gulf Breeze Zoo’s beloved fall tradition, Boo at the Zoo, returns this October with safe trick-or-treating, festive activities, and family-friendly fun for all ages. On the final three weekends of the month, guests are invited to celebrate Halloween surrounded by exotic animals and whimsical holiday décor.
Visitors can explore the Zoo’s trick-or-treat trail, where more than 50 local vendors will hand out candy, toys, and treats. The trail also features seasonal shopping opportunities—perfect for those looking to get a head start on holiday gifts. Families can enjoy bounce houses, face painting, caricatures and the ever-popular education station, where guests can meet some of the Zoo’s most engaging animal residents up close.
“There’s something magical about kids in costume trick-or-treating beside giraffes, monkeys, and kangaroos,” said Cassidy Mazzone, Gulf Breeze Zoo Director. “Boo at the Zoo has become a tradition families look forward to each fall, and we’re thrilled to welcome everyone back this year.”
Costumes are encouraged for all ages, though the Zoo reminds guests to keep attire family-friendly—delightful, not frightful. Bags for trick-or-treating are provided at the entrance.

October 11 and 12

October 25 and 26
Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last admission at 4 p.m. Please note, there is no entry into the Zoo prior to 10 a.m.
Tickets: $10 for members, $21.95 – $28.95 for general admission. Admission includes Safari Express Train Rides.
