School may be back in session, but the Pensacola MESS Hall invites families to keep curiosity alive this fall with a full lineup of engaging science programs. From hands-on building for preschoolers to deep-dive explorations for older kids, there’s something for everyone to discover.
NEW! Busy Builders
Launching this fall, the Busy Builders program is designed especially for young makers, ages 3–6, with a caregiver. In these playful, hands-on workshops, children will bring their ideas to life by building 3D creations out of cardboard and other materials—using safe but exciting tools to transform “trash into treasure.” Registration is required.

$12 members / $15 nonmembers per child (one adult required, max two children per adult)

Curiosity Days
Each month, the MESS Hall hosts Curiosity Days, featuring special facilitated activities designed for learners ages 7 and up. Included with admission, these themed experiences run from 1 PM – 4 PM on select Saturdays:
Energy Extravaganza – September 20
Slimy Saturday – October 16
Puppet-Palooza – November 15
Paper Craft – December 4
In addition to those programs, the MESS Hall is open for family exploration Tuesday through Friday from 12 PM – 5 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM – 5 PM. Visitors can experiment, play, and discover science together with interactive exhibits and activities.

ABOUT THE MESS HALL
Founded in 2012, the Pensacola MESS Hall is not a typical science museum. It’s all hands-on science. Visitors to the facility enjoy exploring math, engineering, science, and stuff with an ever-changing menu of mess kits, activities and exhibits.
