You’ve seen Him do it, right?
Like the way the sun rises in the morning, turning the sky hues of pink and blue, blending it together better than Bob Ross could ever do.
You’ve seen the crystal clear waters of Pensacola Beach and surely you wondered, “If God can do THIS, what else can He do?”
Let’s take a holy moment together and bring it in. We’re going to get real close for a minute. Imagine a huddle in the middle of the game where everyone puts their heads together and the coach is telling you what he sees from his view.
Just like your coaches, your teachers, your parents, your coworkers, and your kids see you – I want you to step in their shoes.
I want you, to see you.
What do you see?
Do you see yourself as the miracle that you are?
Do you know how worthy you are of Gods love?
My hope is that you don’t see yourself as anything less than a precious creation, made by God, for good.
Breathe with that thought for a moment.

You didn’t just pop up out of no where. As my daughter claimed the other night, “Mom, you know a stork didn’t just drop me off on the door step.”
If you are living and breathing today, God thought you were worth it. He thought you were worth bringing into this world, and He’s still got purpose for you on this side of eternity if you’re still kickin’. I believe there’s a purpose for every person, even the ones who didn’t make it. If He started a heart beat, He’s got a plan for it.
Like an artist creates a masterpiece, or a chef prepares a meal, your existence was a mixture of thought and miracle mixed together to create you.
The thought of our existence is often times overlooked by the distractions that surround us. It takes a big mountain peak, a memorizing scenery, an unfortunate event, or something rattling to get our attention.
Right now, while I’ve got you here, I’m asking you to see God’s masterpiece, YOU, as worthy of amazement.
I want you to see yourself the way God sees you.
Unique.
Unbreakable.
Complex.
Wonderful.
Loved.
Free.
If you are struggling to see yourself in the ways that God is describing here, what is getting in the way of you seeing how worthy you truly are?
My first guess is that you haven’t given your trust over to God. Doubt plays defense for us. As long as we are doubting God, we don’t have to worry about what it feels like to be close to Him.
It makes my heart ache to think that you, or someone you know has doubts towards God.
From personal experience, God is the only constant in my life.
Friends come and go. Family lets us down. Jobs are great for a while. Relationships are a roller coaster.
You know who has never once let me down? I’ll give you a guess.
In all the years that I’ve pursued a relationship with Jesus and placed my trust in God, my life has gotten better.
That’s as simple of a testimony as I can share.
The moment I put my faith in following Jesus and allowed God to be the king of my heart, was the moment my life changed for good.
I’ve still got hard days, and there have been weeks at a time where I felt distant from my faith. Though time and time again, God has showed me that once you accept His saving grace, it never goes away.
So what’s holding you back? I’ve heard it said before, our biggest obstacle is right between the ears.
My encouragement to you this week is to give God a chance. Ask Him to prove you wrong. Ask Him to hold your hand through a challenge. This isn’t a silly little test or a magic trick.
I’m a friend, a teammate in your huddle up, asking you to see yourself the way God and I do. Give Him an invite into your heart and let your doubting mind take a break.
God is good, all the time, and He is waiting for you to accept that truth.
