Nourishing the Coast: Jules’ Heart for Food, Faith, and Community

When you meet Jules from Nourish & Company, it doesn’t take long to realize you’re in the presence of someone truly special. Her love for people, her deep faith, and her passion for food shine through in every word and every dish she creates. As a part of my excitement and journey to find local wellness providers and resources for our community, I immediately knew Jules’ meal delivery and health coaching business, and even more so, her story was one that needed to be shared.

In fact, her journey into becoming both a chef and health coach was birthed out of her own story—one of struggle, recovery, and redemption. Like me, Jules has walked through the dark valley of an eating disorder. We instantly connected on that shared piece of our past, and what struck me most was how both of our paths, though painful at times, have become bridges to serving others.

We agreed—our own healing journeys have allowed us to help others know themselves more deeply in their own bodies and learn how to truly nourish themselves with food. And Jules is quick to say that without Jesus, she doesn’t know how she would’ve made it through! That openness and courage to wear her faith on her sleeve is part of what makes her such a light in this community.

Her business, Nourish & Company, is more than a kitchen—I see it as a ministry. She takes the stress out of healthy eating by offering weekly meal plans that are both delicious and practical. Busy working moms, traveling professionals, or anyone who struggles with the “what’s for dinner” question can order by Tuesday and have fresh, ready-made meals available for pick-up or delivery the following weekend.

Every meal is gluten-free and dairy-free, yet so flavorful you’d never know! One of her most popular dishes is a creamy pasta with a sauce made from pumpkin seeds—you’d swear it was heavy cream, but it’s pure nourishment. This is so amazing!

Beyond just taste, Jules caters to real-life health concerns. From diabetes to autoimmune conditions, she creates meals that meet people where they are, without sacrificing flavor. And her heart for serving doesn’t stop there—her fiancé, who serves in the Air Force, recently joined her as her sous chef. Together, they not only bring fresh food to local families but also pour back into the military community, which is so vital to our Gulf Coast.

Jules’ love for Pensacola runs deep. Having vacationed here with her family for over 20 years from Minnesota, she always dreamed of making this her home. She used to tell herself as a young girl that one day she’d live here—captivated by the beach, the Blue Angels, and the coastal charm we locals sometimes take for granted. Today, she gets to live that dream, and in doing so, she gives back in such a meaningful way.

Meeting Jules reminded me of this truth: food is never just about food. It’s about connection, healing, and hope.

Through Nourish & Company, Jules is serving up far more than meals—she’s serving her heart, her story, and her faith, and I have no doubt our community will continue to become richer because of it.

You can find her weekly menus and ordering details on her Instagram and Facebook pages! If you are on a health journey, or prioritizing healthy eating and would like to take some of the prep/cook out of it, she’s your girl!
