Pensacola Sports is welcoming anglers of all ages to Pensacola Beach for the 2025 Busch Light Pensacola Fishing Rodeo June 20 – 23. The family friendly event is for teams and individuals who will compete to catch the biggest fish in 21 different categories
Busch Light Pensacola Fishing Rodeo events
- General Rodeo: Anglers compete to fish for the biggest catch. More than $10,000 in guaranteed cash prizes will be awarded.
- Outcast Tackle & Marine Youth Rodeo and the Academy Sports Junior Rodeo: Young anglers will compete to fish for the biggest catch. The Academy Sports Junior Rodeo is for anglers 11-15 years of age. The Outcast Tackle & Marine Youth Rodeo is for anglers 10 years or younger.
- Inshore Challenge: Teams of anglers will compete to fish for the biggest catch. A cash prize is optional for this challenge.
- MarineMax King Mackerel Challenge: Anglers will compete to catch the biggest King Mackerel. A cash prize is optional for this challenge.
A captain’s meeting will be held at Flounder’s Chowder House on Friday June 20 from 5 – 8 p.m. Captains who participate will have a chance to win a $800 gift certificate from Vannoy’s Tires. Fishing begins Saturday, June 21 at 12:01 a.m. and ends Sunday, June 22 at 6:00 p.m. Anglers can fish on land, dock or boat.
The public is invited to watch the weigh-ins at Flounder’s Chowder House Saturday, June 21 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. then resume Sunday, June 22 from noon – 6:00 p.m. All boats must be at Flounder’s dock by 6:00 p.m.
On Monday June 23, Pensacola Sports will host the awards ceremony to announce the winners starting at 6:30 p.m. at Flounders.
