In February of last year Pensacola Beach’s long standing beach equipment rental service, Lazy Days, merged with La Dolce Vita. The merge presented an opportunity to create a more premier beach experience including a wide range of products and services, which now includes premier golf carts that are available for rent on Pensacola Beach.
My mom and I visited their freshly painted beach hut located in front of The Dock on Casino Beach to get all the details, and they even let us take one for a test spin. We were immediately offered a snow cone on arrival, which is always welcomed on a hot Pensacola Beach day.
From there, Golf-Cart Team Manager, Ash Curd, gave us a run down on the different golf carts available and let us know that when you rent a golf cart from them, you get a complimentary beach chair set which makes this beach day even sweeter.

After signing the liability waiver and getting a quick demonstration on how to use the cart, we were on our way. I was super impressed on the quality of the golf carts. We drove one of the electric ones that had features like a back-up camera, Bluetooth sound system and a key card start. We drove past all of our favorite beach spots before ending at The Local for a coffee. While visiting, we discovered that you can also organize a rental at The Local as they house several LDV golf carts at their shop.
Once we arrived back at the LDV Golf Cart hut Ash set us up with an entire beach set-up for the day that comes free with cart rentals. If you have ever lugged your own seating and shade down to the beach on your own, you know how convenient this is.
