Get ready to lace up your running shoes and hit the streets for a great cause! West Florida Roller Derby with the support of Seville Quarter is proud to present the annual Running of the Bulls, a fundraising race event happening on July 19, 2025, in Downtown Pensacola.
This event supports West Florida Roller Derby, a recreational adult female sports league dedicated to promoting physical and mental health through the exhilarating sport of roller derby. For over 15 years, WFRD has provided a supportive, empowering environment where skaters of all skill levels can develop strength, confidence, and camaraderie.
Participants of all skill levels are invited to run, walk, or jog in this exciting, one-of-a-kind event, which features a 2k loop in downtown Pensacola, but beware the “Bulls”. Proceeds from the race directly benefit the West Florida Roller Derby, a registered 501(c)3.
The event will continue at Seville Quarters with festivities following the race inside Phineas Phogg’s.
Runners can enjoy free beer, music, dancing, and family-friendly activities after the race. Awards will be presented to the runner or group with the best costumes, and participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.
