GALLERY NIGHT “DANCIN’ IN THE STREETS – ART IN MOTION” Friday, March 21 from 5 – 9 p.m. Share in the festivities as Gallery Night hosts its Annual Dance Off Competition and showcases Dance Zone performances from local dance groups, solo dancers, & more.
Ballet Pensacola will host an interactive salsa class that gets anyone who is interested involved! This class will be led by their Company Director Veronica Ramirez Casanova. She will have a few members of their Professional company alongside her to aid in teaching the community the salsa class! The salsa class is a promotion for their upcoming production of Don Quixote, March 28-30 and April 4-6.
Gallery Night is an all-ages, community, arts, and cultural event on the third Friday of each month from 5PM-9PM.
FINAL ICE FLYERS HOME GAMES Friday – Sunday, March 21-23. Friday night is small dog race night at 7 p.m. Saturday is Military Appreciation Night at 7 p.m. Sunday is Spongebob Night at 4 p.m. The Ice Flyers take on the Bulls at the Pensacola Bay Center for all three games. 29TH ANNUAL GULF BREEZE CELEBRATES THE ARTS Saturday, March 22 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 23 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center. This festival hosts 100+ local, regional, and national fine artists, a Local Artists’ Art Show, a Silent Auction, Student Art Show, and food vendors. There are live artist demonstrations and children’s activities. This show follows the Orange Beach Arts Festival and the Fairhope Arts Festival, making these three festivals a perfect lineup for March.
WINE ON THE WATER – PENSACOLA’S WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL Saturday, March 22 from 1 – 4 p.m. at The Blue Wahoos Stadium. Presented by Sandy Sansing Dealerships and Florida Insurance Agency, this food and wine festival is set against the stunning backdrop of Pensacola Bay.
This grand tasting event features exquisite wines, craft beers, and delightful mocktails, paired with culinary masterpieces from Pensacola’s finest chefs. JOHN HART PROJECT Saturday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m. at Paradise Inn Bar & Grill. If you want a laid-back Saturday sunset -this spot is the place to be! Nothing beats lounging with friends in picnic tables or chairs on the sand while sipping your favorite beverages and listening to great live music. Florida-based artist John Hart is an acclaimed guitar player all along the East Coast and Gulf Coast. Leading up to his creation of John Hart Project, John spent a few years touring the East Coast with the prominent Sauce Boss. The warm, rich tones of John’s classical guitar playing approach brings an exciting and fresh presence to his live show, while his unique weaving of finger picking and blues influence brings a flavor to the sound like no other.
PSO IN THE PARK Sunday, March 23 from 3 – 4 p.m. at the Museum Plaza in downtown Pensacola. Pack a lawn chair or a blanket, and join the PSO for a free outdoor performance at Museum Plaza in Downtown Pensacola! This event features Dale Riegle, trumpet; Johnny Brewer, trumpet; Stuart Kinney, horn; and Wess Hillman, trombone; playing patriotic selections and jazz favorites. We will also be collecting donations for Manna Food Pantries, including their most needed items: Chicken and Tuna (canned and pouches), Oatmeal (single-serve packets), Mixed Vegetables (canned and with peel-off lids), Microwavable Meals, Fruit in 100% Juice (20 oz. or less), and Peanut Butter (16 oz. or less jars and individual cups).
SPRING JAM Sunday, March 23 at 4 p.m. at Juana’s Pagodas and Sailors Grill on Navarre Beach. Proceeds go to help Santa Rosa Kids House and is an ALL-AGES show. The Doors will open at 2:00 pm and the show will start at 4:00 pm. Bring your beach towel to sit on (NO CHAIRS ARE ALLOWED)
