The Pensacola Camellia Club invites you to join one of the most anticipated events of the year—the 86th Annual Camellia Show & Plant Sale. Whether you’re a seasoned gardening enthusiast or simply a lover of beauty, this event offers something for everyone.
Hobbyists from across the Southeast—representing at least five states—will present over 1,000 stunning camellia blooms, making this show one of the premier events of its kind.
These exquisite flowers are divided into two categories: blooms nurtured in controlled greenhouse environments and those grown outdoors in traditional home gardens. With camellias offering a remarkable diversity of colors, forms, and sizes, you’re guaranteed to be amazed!
A Chance to Participate and Learn
The show is open to all camellia growers, from beginners with a single plant to experts with extensive collections. If you’re new to camellia growing, the “Novice” category offers a welcoming space to showcase your blooms and compete for prizes.
If your plants typically bloom outside the December timeframe, don’t worry—club members are happy to provide simple techniques to encourage early blooming!
Participation in the show or club meetings does not require membership, making this a truly inclusive celebration of nature’s beauty.
Giving Back to the Community
This year’s event continues the club’s tradition of generosity.
Instead of presenting winners with trophies or plaques, members contribute new, unwrapped toys to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
Representatives from the NAS Marine Corps will be present to receive the donations, which will bring joy to children across Escambia County this holiday season.
