FESTA ITALIANA HOSTED BY BUONA FORTUNA LODGE October 11 at 11 a.m. – October 12 at 6 p.m. . This is a FREE celebration of everything Italian! Come share the culture in its many forms through food, dance, art, and hospitality!
Joe Hobbs Glass will be the featured artist this year, showcasing a glass collection with LIVE demonstrations during the festival.
The festival also includes Italian music, prize drawings, and a silent auction. This year’s drawing: 1st prize is $1,000, 2nd is $500, and 3rd is $250, all cash prizes!
SEA NO LIMITS FREE FISHING CLINIC in partnership with The Arc Gateway. Saturday, October 12 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park, conveniently located right behind Blue Wahoos Stadium.
Participants can look forward to a variety of offerings during the clinic, including:
- A fishing rod and reel
- Delicious BBQ sandwiches provided by Sonny’s BBQ, along with beverages
- A complimentary T-shirt
- An optional Child ID Program
- Fish identification booklets
- Fishing instruction and bait

AUBURN V. FLORIDA STATE BASEBALL SHOWCASE Saturday, October 12 at noon at the Blue Wahoos Stadium. The Blue Wahoos Fanfest will begin at 9 a.m. outside the stadium. Beginning at noon, the two teams will have two 7-inning games with 30 minutes in between. Tickets for the game sold out, but fan fest is open and some tickets may be available at online resell outlets.
2024 TASTE OF THE BEACH Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday’s free outdoor festival takes place on the white-sand shoreline of Pensacola Beach for a daylong celebration of all things Southern, seafood, savory and sweet. We’re talking feet in the sand, crashing waves, sunshine, and shrimp. So if you’re a Gulf Coast seafood junkie, you’re not going to want to miss it.
The festival opens at 10 a.m. at Casino Beach when 20+ of the beach’s restaurants, stationed in booths surrounding the Gulfside Pavilion and overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, begin serving their signature dishes. The festival is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The menu changes every year, but you’ll always find plenty of seafood options as well as landlubber fare such as sliders, sandwiches and sweets. Beer, wine and frozen alcoholic concoctions will also be available for purchase.
ODDTOBERFEST Saturday, October 12 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. by Odd Colony at The Burrow. The BIERGARTEN will be set for games with prizes, German food and drink specials, merchandise and glassware. There will be lederhosen and dirndl costume contests, so braid your hair and tighten your suspenders for a fun time!
ODDTOBERFEST CINDERELLA BY BALLET PENSACOLA Saturday, October 12 at 7 p.m. Cinderella would daydream of a beautiful, picturesque life in her fairytale-like village only to be reminded that it was only a dream. Her reality is being forced to work in her home as a maid to her wicked stepmother and evil stepsisters. The entire village had heard that the Prince would hold a Royal Ball so he could choose his future bride. All were to attend, except for Cinderella of course. Alone and upset, Cinderella receives a magical visit from her Fairy Godmother that will transform her life forever. After captivating the Prince with her grace and beauty, Cinderella runs off, only leaving behind one glass slipper. Will the Prince find Cinderella and live happily ever after or has the clock struck midnight and ended this love story? Tickets

LOTUS at Vinyl Music Hall. Saturday, October 12. Doors open at 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m. Innovators in blending electronic dance music with the jam band model of improvisation, Lotus has captivated audiences with their high-energy, dance-inducing shows and intrepid studio work. Drawing from genres such as psychedelic rock, krautrock, post-rock, disco, and funk, the four-piece band is known for their festival-favorite performances and intriguing songwriting, which seamlessly transitions from high-flying guitar solos to modular synth workouts, combining tightly composed songs with free-ranging group improvisation. Their 11th studio album, “How To Dream In Color,” showcases Lotus’s evolution, featuring 12 tracks that traverse a spectrum of soundscapes.
THE BLACK JACKET SYMPHONY: ELTON JOHN’S MADMAN ACROSS THE WATER Saturday, October 12 at 8 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre. The Black Jacket Symphony recreates classic albums live in their entirety—note for note, sound for sound—plus a full set of greatest hits from the evening’s featured artist.
