Pensacola Habitat for Humanity serves low- to moderate-income families of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties who face limited housing options due to high rent and rising costs. These families are often priced out of the local housing market, making affordable homeownership a critical need for our teachers, nurses, construction workers, bankers, and beyond. With award-winning homes designed for long-term affordability, the Homebuyer Program empowers new homeowners to break free from renting and build generational wealth.

“We are fortunate to be in a position where we can expand our capacity to serve more members of our community,” said Sam Young, President and CEO of Pensacola Habitat for Humanity. “This means hardworking individuals and deserving families can move into their beautiful, affordable homes even faster, enjoying the safety and stability that come with homeownership.”

The program offers seven distinct floor plans, with options ranging from two to four bedrooms to accommodate various family sizes and needs. Each home is built with quality and energy efficiency in mind, ensuring comfort and sustainability, with mortgages that never exceed 30% of household income.

Applicants may apply for the Homebuyer Program as many times as needed, with their team of HUD Certified Housing Counselors available to assist with credit improvement, debt management, and other steps required to qualify. Once approved, Pensacola Habitat for Humanity’s experienced staff will guide homebuyers every step of the way, ensuring confidence and clarity throughout the homeownership journey.
