The East Hill Neighborhood Association is excited to announce the final concert of the 2024 Bands on the Bayou concert series, featuring the high-energy Bay Bridge Band, on Saturday, October 5, 2024. This free, family-friendly event will take place at Bayview Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. as the sun sets over Bayou Texar, offering a perfect close to the concert season.
Bands on the Bayou has brought the community together all year with its lineup of local talent, and the Bay Bridge Band will send off the 2024 season in style. Known for their dynamic blend of classic rock, pop, and R&B hits, the Bay Bridge Band is sure to get the crowd dancing and singing along.
“Bands on the Bayou has been a wonderful way for our community to gather, enjoy great music, and celebrate the beauty of our bayou,” said Concert Chair Lauren Gund. “We’re thrilled to have Bay Bridge Band close out our season with what promises to be an unforgettable show.”
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to make the most of the evening. Food trucks will be on site starting at 4:30 p.m. to offer a variety of local favorites, and there will be activities for children, making it a perfect event for the entire family.
The Bands on the Bayou series has been made possible by the generous support of local sponsors and the dedicated efforts of the East Hill Neighborhood Association. The goal of the concert series is to foster a sense of community while raising funds and awareness for local nonprofit organizations. October’s concert will feature two nonprofits – Rally Foundation and Survivor-Led Solutions.
