Honor HER is committed to providing meals, lodging, access to medical care, and job placement services for identified women veterans who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless. The main focus of Honor HER is on homeless single women veterans, in the Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

It is the vision of Honor HER to provide shelter and restore hope, honor, and dignity in every female veteran who seeks comfort, support, and assistance through its programs.

The Faith House, which opened its doors to 8 women veterans on November 15, 2019, is one of the main programs of the Honor Her Foundation. It is the only place of its kind along the Gulf Coast for displaced single female veterans. The Faith House is a home, not a shelter and those that live here are more than people, they are family. To apply for housing, female veterans can fill out a confidential application at this link: https://www.honorher.org/_files/ugd/37b6b9_12c77b231dc440a68c220f1b45d90b0f.pdf

Completed applications should be emailed to board@honorher.org

In addition to financial contributions, Honor Her accepts donations of gently used clothing that is clean and free of damage; personal care items; and cleaning supplies. The personal care and cleaning items should be sealed and unused. For a list of these recommended items, click here: https://www.honorher.org/clothing-cleaning

For this August campaign, Kia Cares in the Community worked with the Honor HER Foundation to create a list of the current most needed items. You may purchase the items at the Wal-Mart link here: https://link.edgepilot.com/s/69a059b2/ScXe4bI-n0GIaicpEN82OA?u=https://www.walmart.com/registry/ER/bc840746-c9bb-4bdd-b1e5-28f6d186b44e

Items may also be dropped off at the Kia AutoSport of Pensacola dealership at 6637 Pensacola Boulevard, Pensacola, FL 32505.

In addition to providing housing for approved female veterans, the Honor HER Foundation partners with Banyan Services to provide mental health care and addiction treatment. They also work with CareerSource Escarosa to provide job employment resources.
