The 2024 Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon on Friday, Aug. 16, is an annual live broadcast that supports programs and services for patients at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. The event is presented by Hanto & Clarke General Contractors.
Listeners can tune in to Cat Country 98.7 FM and WEAR ABC 3 to hear from children and caretakers who have benefited from the quality care provided by the Studer Family Children’s Hospital – the area’s only children’s hospital. Last year, generous members of the community pledged $215,260 to support programs and services benefiting patients and families at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital.
This year, 100% of pledged donations will go towards the Studer Family Children’s Hospital NICU Angel Eye Program. This program involves procuring 72 cameras to offer live-streaming video access to monitor every child’s progress live in the NICU. This system enables care teams and families to share important milestones and heartwarming moments through real-time updates.
The fundraising event hours are 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. To make a donation, call 850-416-KIDS (5437), text “CATKIDS” to 51555, or visit us in person at the Studer Family Children’s Hospital.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN), such as the Studer Family Children’s Hospital, are on the front lines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations, but they can’t do it alone. Since 1983, CMN Hospitals have raised more than $7 billion in unrestricted funds for 170
children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada.
Gifts for the hospital also can be made at https://givesacredheart.org/donate/. For more information, or if you have questions, please call Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation at 850-746-1090
