KIA NIGHT AT BLUE WAHOOS STADIUM Friday, July 26 at 6:05 p.m. The Blue Wahoos take on Biloxi for the four-game series that begins TONIGHT Thursday, July 25 at 6:05 p.m. at Blue Wahoos Stadium. STATE FAIR THE MUSICAL Opens Friday, July 26. Performance dates are July 26-28 and August 2-4. Tickets are available at https://performingarts.pensacolastate.edu/upcoming-events/ or (850)484-1847. State Fair is a musical with a book by Tom Briggs and Louis Mattioli, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and music by Richard Rodgers. Phil Stong’s original 1932 novel, State Fair, was first adapted for film in 1933 in a production starring Will Rogers.

PARTY IN THE PARK Friday, July 26 from 5 – 9 p.m. Slow Ride + Game of Skate; The Slow Ride + Game of SKATE event will include a 5.5 mile Slow Ride around Hollice T. Williams Park and through the Eastside neighborhood and a competitive game of SKATE at the Blake Doyle Skate Park. Participants can take a survey to participate in the game of SKATE for a cash prize and raffle prizes. The first 50 people to take the Equity survey will also eat for free. Additional entertainment at this event will include a DJ and food trucks. This event is sponsored by Bike Pensacola, Upward Intuition, and Brown Bagger. THE NEW CAHOOTS Live at Paradise Bar & Grill, on Friday, July 26 at 5:30 p.m. “The New Cahoots” is an acoustic/electric group based in Pensacola, Florida. The band, formed in 2020, has written original music from a blend of bluegrass, folk, and Americana. They have supported acts such as Railroad Earth, Town Mountain, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country & Dumpstaphunk. They have also played multiple sets at Suwannee Roots Revival at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. Performances include a diverse catalog of originals and covers ranging from traditional bluegrass, folk, jam bands & rock and roll. The band features members: Michael Garcia – Guitar & Vox; Jay Stafford – Mandolin; Owen Finley – Bass; Ethan Giles – Drums; and Brooks Hubbert III – Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin.

BIG SUMMER BOOK SALE Friday, July 26 at 3 p.m. – Sunday, July 28 at 3 p.m. at the Downtown Library at 239 N Spring Street, Pensacola. Stock up on books, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs. Books will be sorted into different genre categories to make it easier to find your favorites! Hours are below:

LET’S GO FISHING Saturday, July 27 at 8 a.m. participate in a fishing clinic at the Ft. Pickens Ferry Plaza. This event is for kids and adults old enough to hold a fishing pole to 100+! There will be casting instructors on-site to teach casting and park rangers will instruct on knots, fish, and fishing rules on Florida’s shoreline. Pre-register here: FISHING CLINIC
PALAFOX MARKET Saturday, July 27 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at two locations at Martin Luther King Plaza or Ferdinand Plaza. You’ll find the unique, the one-of-a-kind, the precious, the delicious and the off-beat at Palafox Market in Downtown Pensacola. Items originate directly from talented onsite vendors who grow, make, or create each item for sale. Join us every Saturday for the award-winning Palafox Market from 9:00am-2:00pm, rain or shine for farm-fresh produce, plants, flowers, baked goods, hand-crafted works of art, sculpture, fresh tea and coffee, delicious food and spices, hand-blown glass, ceramics and much more at the event that was named Florida’s Best Farmers Market by Southern Living magazine.
BANDS ON THE BAYOU Saturday, July 27 from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Bayview Park! Cowboy Park will be the featured band. This concert features the local non-profits, Bike Pensacola and Upward Intuition. The concert starts at 6:30 pm, but come early to claim your spot on the grass near the Community Center and enjoy food and fun from local vendors. Food trucks will be open by 4:30 pm.
1920s MURDER MYSTERY DINNER Friday, July 26 & Saturday, July 27 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Heritage Hall (Seville Quarter). Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the show begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets: $65 (includes service charge, tax not included). The ticket includes a choice of two entrees. Set in an early 1920’s speakeasy. An artifact has been brought in to be appraised from the excavation of King Tut’s tomb, but does his curse follow?
