Bands on the Bayou Featuring Cowboy Park this Saturday

Prepare for a spectacular evening of music, community, and fun as the highly anticipated Bands on the Bayou returns to Bayview Park in Pensacola’s East Hill neighborhood on Saturday, July 27, 2024. This family-friendly event, set against the beautiful backdrop of Bayou Texar, promises an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages.

The evening features the musical talent of Cowboy Park, which is formerly the band known is DLP. Cowboy Park is a rock cover band comprised of well-known locals including City Council Vice President Jared Moore (vocals and guitar), Election Security Advisor David Stafford (drums), Dr. Sidney Rosenthal (lead guitar), Attorney Charlie Wiggins (bass), and Attorney Jack Zoesch (keyboards).

Come early to claim your spot on the grass or pier, and enjoy a variety of delectable offerings from local food trucks starting at 4:30 PM. Food vendors include Lone Star, Pcola Rolla, Zap Sap, Waffle Boutique, Lamonte Gelato, and Whim Cotton Candy.

At 6:30 PM, Cowboy Park will take the stage, delivering a high-energy performance that promises to entertain music lovers of all ages. The concert will wrap up at 8:30 PM, providing two hours of fantastic live music in the beautiful setting of Bayview Park.

Attendees can also look forward to games and giveaways from concert sponsors and learning about the evening’s two featured nonprofits – Bike Pensacola and Upward Intuition.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the festivities. The event aims to foster a sense of togetherness while supporting local musical talent, nonprofits, and businesses.
