KAYAK WITH A RANGER ON SANTA ROSA SOUND Friday, June 14 at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. (and other dates and times are ongoing; see link for details)

Over 80 percent of the Gulf Islands National Seashore is a marine habitat! Paddle around Santa Rosa Sound on this 90-minute guided program to explore the region’s natural and human history. Kayaks are provided free of charge. Closed-toe shoes and a life vest are required. The event is limited to the first 10 people.
Note: Kayaks will be provided. Visitors must use park kayaks and equipment and weigh a minimum of 50 pounds, which is the minimum weight the youth life jackets are rated for. For single, sit-inside kayaks, the total participant weight cannot exceed 300 pounds; for tandem, sit-inside kayaks, the total participant weight cannot exceed 500 pounds. Celebrate the longest day of the year with an unforgettable costume dance party at Odd Colony. Gather your besties and your on-theme fit and get ready to dance all night. Music by DJ BRODY! This is the SECOND Solstice party, returning to Odd Colony – this time to kick off PensaPride weekend! They highly encourage costuming and on-theme clothing (fairy, woodland creature, sun goddess, human sacrifice). Commit to the bit and enjoy a night of fun! DISASTER DASH 5K Saturday, June 15 at 7:30 a.m. The FIRST Disaster Dash 5K Run/ Walk to kick off disaster preparedness! The course, a 3.1-mile run/ walk through beautiful, historic downtown Pensacola will start and end at Seville Square. The Race begins at 7:30 AM. Following the race, join BRACE for the free family-friendly afterparty where you will have the opportunity to learn how YOU can be better prepared for the upcoming hurricane season! There will be a live DJ and booths from our sponsors. Proceeds from this event will support Long-Term Recovery Efforts after a disaster, Escambia County Community Emergency Response Teams, the Pensacola Fire Corps, and education opportunities that make our community more disaster resilient. FLORIDA MAP RESIN CLASS Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m. at Sea Glass Beach Cottage. Come join this easy, but beautiful glass resin class! Each person will be given a wooden 8×10 frame, fire glass, seashells & fishing net to create this art piece. You may be as creative as you would like! Want it to be more detailed, or full of seashells? Go ahead! You are not limited! This project may take you 30 minutes to complete, or 2 hours. As long as you have fun and enjoy yourself it’s all good! All materials are provided, including light snacks and drinks. Feel free to BYOB/wine. Cost $65. 10th ANNUAL FISH HOUSE CRAFT BEER HOUSE Saturday, June 15 from 3 – 6 p.m. on The Fish House Deck. They will be feature over 50 different beers with a portion of the event proceeds benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida.

(Pensacola, FL), Props Craft Brewery Company (Fort Walton Beach, FL), Ghost Train Brewery (Birmingham, AL), Ology Brewing Co. (Tallahassee, FL), Braided River Brewing Co. (Mobile, AL), Doc’s Hop Shop (Pensacola, FL), Urban South (New Orleans, LA), Victory Brewing Company (Downingtown, PA), Grayton Beer Company (Grayton Beach, FL), Wicked Weed Brewing Pub (Ashville, NC), Swamp Head Brewery (Gainesville, FL), Founders Brewing Co.
