“No Day But Today” – Rent Takes Center Stage as Pensacola Little Theatre’s 23-24 Season Finale

Pensacola Little Theatre (PLT) proudly presents Rent, Jonathan Larson’s iconic musical, as the grand finale of its 23-24 season. Running from June 7th to 23rd, Rent is directed by Artistic Director Kathy Holsworth, with music direction by Ginger Caro and choreography by Michael Dennis. This production promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for audiences.

Winner of both the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Rent has transcended generations to become a pop cultural phenomenon. Its dynamic soundtrack and compelling narrative have resonated with audiences worldwide.

Loosely based on Puccini’s La Boheme, Rent chronicles a year in the lives of a group of young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in the Lower East Side of New York City amidst the shadow of HIV/AIDS. The characters navigate through the physical and emotional complexities of the disease, as well as their own dreams, loves, and conflicts.

Featuring an exceptionally talented cast and crew, Rent is a must-see event. Please note that the production does contain strong language and adult themes.
