Local designer, Isabel Miller, creates beach friendly jewelry line

There is no lack of talent in Pensacola and it seems every week we are discovering a new entrepreneur or business that peaks our interest. Several weeks ago, we discovered a jewelry artist at Palafox Market and not only are her pieces beautifully made, but they go hand-in-hand with our Pensacola Beach lifestyle. Just in time for bikini season, meet Isabel Miller, owner and designer of IsabelXSummer jewelry.

Isabel Miller designs swimwear jewelry that is not just an accessory but a resilient, non-tarnish, and waterproof companion for your beach day adventures. She calls them “Bikini Charms.”

“I started IsabelxSummer in the summer of 2023. I was looking for good quality non tarnish jewelry to compliment my summer aesthetic and swimwear. Something I could wear in the ocean and the shower,” said Miller. “My jewelry is different because it is made solely to withstand the elements of living a luxury beach lifestyle.”

While studying in college in London she began working with a high-end jewelry company, setting the standards for her commitment to quality and durability. When she returned to Pensacola, she faced the challenge of preserving jewelry color and strength after a few days at the beach, laying the foundation for IsabelxSummer.

“Growing up next to the beach, I developed a deep appreciation for salt, sand, and sunshine. Eager to showcase my fashion via swimwear and jewelry, I merged my love for coastal living with a commitment to creating accessories that withstand the elements,” said Miller. “My first collection contains two simple charms that add an extra sparkle to your bikini or beachwear! Bikini Charms always existed, but IsabelxSummer made it elegant.”

Miller is launching her second line in June and will even be using some shells that might look familiar.

”I source my materials through many different people and locations. My first launch materials were sourced from a small artesian village in Southeast Asia, providing high quality freshwater pearls and gold plated materials.,” said Miller. “My second launch is fully handmade jewelry with materials sourced through multiple local vendors and some shells coming from our own local beaches.

You can find Isabel Miller and her jewelry line at the South Palafox Pensacola Farmer’s Market every Saturday or purchase her pieces online at IsabelxSummer.com. Her new collection of swimwear jewelry “Bikini Bling” will launch on June 1st.

“My philosophy goes beyond traditional jewelry norms, emphasizing beauty and resilience,” said Miller. “IsabelxSummer turns your bikini into a canvas for stylish expressions with waterproof, non-tarnish pieces that stand up to the elements.”
