The National Scholastic Athletics Foundation (NSAF) is hosting the Nike Indoor Nationals today March 8, through March 10 at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in what promises to be the best high school indoor competition in the United States. 4,100 of the U.S.’s top middle school and high school athletes will compete over three days on the “fastest track in the world.”

Long known as a hub for sport and community, and home to more track records than any other indoor facility globally, the legendary track and field complex will welcome competitors from around the country to toe the line and take the field to compete for national titles. The meet will feature Championship and Emerging Elite divisions, as well as select freshman and middle school events.

The competition kicked off this Friday morning with Beroset’s win and goes through Sunday. The full schedule, registration link, entry guidelines, and much more can be found at NikeIndoorNationals.com.

Beroset runs with Golden Elite Track & Field and the Gulf Breeze High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Recently he broke the Gulf Breeze High School record in the 3200 with a time of 9:13.12 at the Bolles Bulldog Classic in Jacksonville. He also broke the 1600-meter record at the Andrews Invitational held in Gulf Breeze on February 23.

Congratulations to Drew! The entire Pensacola area is proud of you!
