Cobb joined the city from the Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon law firm, where he served as a real estate attorney and shareholder advising clients on land-use and zoning issues, representing property owners in litigation, and developing and negotiating agreements and public-private partnerships.

Prior to his position at ESC, Cobb served as an attorney for the Ice Miller law firm in Indianapolis, Indiana. While in the role, he negotiated and structured public-private partnerships, guided property owners through commercial real estate transactions and related contracts, and represented municipalities in annexation and various other land matters.

“It’s rare that the opportunity arises to work for and meaningfully contribute to the betterment of the city where you grew up and chose to raise your family,” Cobb said. “I am truly grateful to have that opportunity and excited to get to work.”

Cobb earned his Bachelor of Science from Troy University and his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University. He is board certified in real estate law by the Florida Bar, on the board of directors of NAIOP of Northwest Florida, a member of the Pensacola Habitat for Humanity land committee, and a Leadership Pensacola alumnus.

“Adam’s negotiation and public-private partnership experience will be of great use to the City of Pensacola,” Mayor Reeves said. “As the city looks to restructure its future partnership and use agreements, he will play a vital role in developing agreements that benefit city residents and taxpayers.”
