What: Masquerade of Love Glass Showcase
When: Friday, February 2 from 9 AM – 4 PM
Where: 1060 North Guillemard Street, Pensacola FL
Glass blowing is the art of making glassware by blowing air into molten hot glass through a long tube. Easy enough, right? That’s not all that goes into the craft. The creative process is technical, flaming hot, and takes time to master. Joe has been working with glass for over 20 years and continues to unveil creative ways to work with the medium.
Find Mardi Gras-themed favorites, like the whiskey decanters & glass sets. Or surprise your special someone with a glass rose, the flower that will last forever. Love birds, heart-shaped bowls, and vases will be on display too!
Joe and his crew will be hosting live demos throughout the event. The glass Hotshop is a sight to see! There are many moving parts to blowing glass, and it wouldn’t be possible without his high-functioning team.
If you miss the showcase on Friday, Joe Hobbs Glass will be set up at the Palafox Market on Saturday, February 3rd, for any last-minute Valentine’s or Mardi Gras gift needs.
