FLO RIDA at PENSACOLA MARDI GRAS MAMBO Friday, January 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Pensacola Bay Center. Pensacola’s newest Mardi Gras event is open to all! Bring your Mardi Gras krewe or your neighborhood crew and have a ball. All ages are welcome! Tickets can still be purchased for this FUN event!! OPERA PRESENTS LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR Friday, January 26 from 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. at The Saenger Theatre in downtown Pensacola. Lucia Ashton is madly in love with Edgardo, leader of the Ravenswoods, her family’s fiercest political enemies. However, her marriage to Lord Arturo Bucklaw has already been arranged by her brother Enrico, to save their family from poverty. Caught in the middle of the two rival families, Lucia loses her strength and descends into madness, leading to the opera’s tragic conclusion. Donizetti’s beautifully tumultuous score is highlighted by the iconic “Mad Scene,” an extended, virtuosic showpiece made famous by sopranos such as Joan Sutherland, Maria Callas, and Beverly Sills. COLBY SWIFT LIVE at Intermission this Friday, January 26 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The former American Idol Contestant will perform live. Luke Bryan said of Colby, “he reminds me of me at that age.” Grab friends and go see this young country artist perform!
METALLICA TRIBUTE BAND THE FOUR HORSEMEN on Friday, January 26 at 7 p.m. at Vinyl Music Hall. PAWDI GRAS Sunday, January 28 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  The event will take place on a closed-down Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox Streets, where vendors, sponsors, music, food, drinks, and adoptable dogs will line the streets for a fun day that puts your dog as the guest of honor for carnival season. We will even have a dog paw-rade down Palafox Street as well as costume contests! The 3rd Annual Pensacola Pawdi Gras block party and dog paw-rade, is hosted by WolfGang Pensacola and presented by Perfect Plain Brewery, Hanto & Clarke, and in part by Visit Pensacola. PALAFOX MARKET Saturday, January 27 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. This large outdoor market features fresh produce from local farmers, baked goods, products from cottage industry artisans, and products from skilled craftsmen, and more! CASINO NIGHT We are excited to host the first Casino Night at Casino Beach Bar & Grille on Saturday, Jan. 27th from 6-9 PM. Our beach bar turns into Casino Royale for a night! THE GLENN PARKER BAND Live at Five Sisters Blues Cafe, Saturday, January 27 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. This band plays jazz, soft rock, blues, and classic R&B, they always leave their audiences wanting more. Glenn Parker, a native Floridian, has been a headliner in Las Vegas and many venues throughout the southeast. It is rare to find this creative combination in a quintet. Stop by Five Sisters for some comfort food and easy entertainment.
KARAOKE AT HUB’S This weekend will be the perfect weekend to grab friends and try something new! Hub Stacey’s downtown will host karaoke starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, January 27. MARC BROUSSARD Sunday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Vinyl Music Hall. Marc is an artist with a unique gift of channeling the spirits of classic R&B, rock, and soul into contemporary terms. His father, Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist Ted Broussard of “The Boogie Kings” nurtured his musical gifts at an early age, and the vibrant Lafayette, Louisiana music scene allowed Broussard to practice his craft consistently from childhood through early adulthood. After releasing a successful independent EP at age 20, Marc signed a record deal with Island Records and made his major-label debut with Carencro. He is a wonderful musician and not to be missed! Dana is an Arkansas native and a seasonal resident of the Gulf Coast since childhood. She was a Pensacola resident for 13 years, before moving to Gulf Breeze.
