From innovative concepts to unique experiences, this year is looking like it might be our best (and tastiest). Here’s 10 spots we can’t wait to test out in the 2024 season — get ready to embrace the buzz starting now!

The Burrow by Odd Colony

Odd Colony’s latest venture and extension of the Odd Colony experience, The Burrow. Planting roots in an East Hill Biergarten in early 2024, The Burrow will offer an extensive array of Odd Colony ferments, a cocktail lounge & eatery in one of our favorite neighborhoods.

”Fate would have it that it’s been tasked to us to take an early 1900’s, Gothic architecture, old Sacred Heart hospital and convert it into a wilderness lodge & beer hall worthy of you fine folk we call friends, but we suppose that’s called some sort of fermentation destiny.”

A Mano Panino

Just a hop, skip and a jump from the Burrow find Alex and Ashley Lamonte’s newest venture, A Mano Panino. Their soft open began in December 2023, but get ready for a grand opening on January 12.

We want to introduce you to our next Project, A Mano Panino.
This passion project will feature a collection of hand crafted, artisanal Italian sandwiches inspired by the street food of Florence. Our bread, known in Tuscany as schiacciata, will be made fresh daily and served with authentic sliced meats, cheeses, vegetables and spreads. (We will not have a gluten free option to start, but will work towards that for the future).”
Coming to the East Garden District in Downtown Pensacola (next to Papa’s Pizza) will host Pensacola’s newest Asian Cuisine. JINYA is known for its slow-cooked approach to ramen, made from broths simmered for 20 hours in-house. From its customizable menu to sleek interiors, JINYA Ramen Bar presents a contemporary Japanese dining ideal for lively social gatherings for all ages.
Sweeping scenic views of Pensacola, a unique ambiance and an elevated experience are all things we can expect from the Pensacola Cultural Center’s new rooftop venue, The Top of the Center coming in spring of 2024. The newest elevated addition to downtown Pensacola will have its’ own stage, bar, catering kitchen, private dining nook, ample seating, and a glass lantern entryway overlooking downtown. The goal is to create a visual piece of art to sit on top of our historic structure that you can experience even from afar. 
With a cult following already in Niceville and Crestview this Fast Casual Hawaiian style Restaurant plans to open their doors off Davis Highway in March of 2024. Choose your plate size, choose your meats, choose your sides, and wait as your dish is brought to your table and you enjoy the ‘ohana’ style hospitality.
From the Restauranteur Johnny Mascia who brought BARSTEAK to downtown Pensacola, a new quick and healthy option will bless the heart of Pensacola. The drive-thru restaurant located off Jefferson will offer top quality salads filled with produce from local farmers in a matter of minutes.
Taking over the former Big Top Brewery and Secret Sagittarius Bierwerks this hotspot is saying goodbye to the craft beer and hello to innovative, fun breakfast and brunch plates. With one location already in Miramar, diners can expect the same flare and instagram worthy dishes and cocktails.
Smalls Sliders, the QSR sensation that is redefining the cheeseburger slider experience, is officially entering the Florida market alongside existing franchisee Matt Gallagher. Gallagher, who is currently developing the brand’s first four locations in Mississippi, has signed on to open four additional spots in Pensacola. Gallagher has built a career spanning 40 years in the restaurant industry as a multi-brand franchisee with Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux and Outback Steakhouse. Inspired by founder Brandon Landry and investor Drew Brees’ proven vision, Gallagher was attracted to the simplicity of the Smalls Sliders model and its craveable menu.

Happy Joe’s Pizza and Ice Cream

Happy Joes Pizza and Ice Cream has its sights set on Navarre for 2024. The restaurant franchise is known for its pizza and desserts across multiple states in the Midwest including Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Owned and operated by Jennifer & Jeff Harding. This location will feature a large main open dining area, outdoor and indoor patio dining and private party room perfect for large family gatherings, special events and parties. Fun Center will include games and prize counter.

Jet’s Pizza

You can never have too many pizza options and Creighton Road is about to receive another one. That first location has grown to hundreds of locations in 22 states. Jet’s offers more than famous Detroit-style pizzas, like hand-tossed round, thin-crust, and NY-Style pizzas, fresh salads, breads, and desserts.

2024 is already looking like it will be one for the books (and the tastebuds) and we have only just scratched the surface on all that’s to come. Buckle up, come hungry and get ready to join us in celebrating the arrival of these new establishments! Let’s go, Pensacola!
